Firebird guitar Flamed Bird

Custom-designed Firebird-style guitar featuring a body with curves faithful to the original model, and a headstock shape chosen by the client.

The selected woods are mahogany, walnut, and rosewood, to stay true to the original guitar while also adding a touch of innovation. The mahogany body and neck bring roundness to the sound, while the walnut top provides a sharp attack.

The client opted for custom maple inlays on the rosewood fretboard to give the guitar a unique look. The reverse headstock is veneered with the same wood as the top. The set neck is contoured with the body to facilitate access to high notes.

The guitar is equipped with warm and very rock ‘n roll sounding Lollar P90 pickups, with a series/parallel wiring for a 4th position. The Tonepros Tune o Matic bridge features locking screws to prevent any vibrations.

Finally, the guitar comes equipped with Straplocks to secure the strap, like all guitars made in the luthier’s workshop.
