SG Guitar Sweet Hell

This SG-style guitar is a custom model faithful to the original.

The body is made of mahogany, the neck of cedar, and the fingerboard is ebony. The mahogany provides great resonance and sustain, with a very warm and balanced sound. The cedar neck is very rigid and lightweight, to avoid imbalancing the guitar. The ebony fingerboard adds brightness and precise attack.

The finish is a glossy nitrocellulose lacquer, like on the original models. A cream binding along the ebony fingerboard offers a neat look. The inlays are made of discreet mother-of-pearl.

The NW Guitars pickups were custom-made in France. They are 2 PAF-style humbuckers in Alnico to obtain a vintage classic rock sound. The sound is balanced, well-opened, with beautiful harmonics.

The hardware is also faithful to the SG. Grover locking tuners, Tonepros Tune o Matic bridge to avoid unwanted vibrations. Dunlop Security Lock straplocks secure the strap, and the knobs are made of ebony.
