Superstrat Guitar Fanned Fret

This Superstrat-style guitar is a custom Fanned Fret model with a very metal style.

The body is made from a single piece of swamp ash, the neck is made from quarter-sawn wenge, and the fretboard is made of ebony. Swamp ash provides crisp attacks and a tight, precise sound. Wenge neck adds brightness and resonance, while the ebony fretboard brings precision and brightness even in distortion.

The finish is a black open-pore satin varnish, which allows the guitar to breathe and resonate freely without muffling the sound. This very modern finish reveals the wood grain, and the neck has an oiled finish for playing comfort.

The NW Guitars Fanned Fret pickups were custom made in France. They are two overwound humbuckers made of Alnico 5 and 8 to obtain a high output level. The sound is round, rich in mid-bass to give thickness to distortion and high gain.

The hardware is gold, with Hipshot tuners and a custom-made Trovato Hardware flat bridge plated in gold.
