Double Cut Guitar Deluxe poplar

The NW Deluxe is the luthier’s double cut electric guitar model with Poplar Top. This model is customizable, with the choice of woods, hardware, pickups, and finishes. Contact us to get a list of options.

The double-cut shape is comfortable and offers good instrument balance. The finishes are mostly modern, but it’s possible to customize your luthier electric guitar to give it the desired style.

On this model, the body is made of swamp ash, the neck of maple, and the fretboard of rosewood. A carved poplar burl top has been added. Swamp ash provides a dry and snappy sound that gives well-controlled distortions with high-output humbucker pickups.

NW Guitars pickups are custom-made in France. They are 2 hand-wound overwound humbuckers in Alnico and ceramic. Other models are available as standard, including the handmade Hepcat pickups made in France.

The hardware is chrome, with Gotoh tuners, Schaller Vintage Tremolo vibrato bridge, and Dunlop Security Lock straplocks to secure the strap.
